Meet Mrs. M
In the classic movie The Princess Bride, the late great Peter Cook plays the role of a priest officiating the ceremony of Princess Buttercup to the evil Prince Humperdinck.
It comes at a crucial time in the movie, when Humperdinck is forcing Buttercup to marry him.
The priest bids the couple to rise from a kneeling position. The costumes are exquisite. The chapel is beautiful. The tension is high in the air when the priest opens his mouth and says,
His accent is out of control! It brings a much needed comedic relief to an otherwise tense moment.
Sometimes, when we’re photographing, that line runs through my mind. Not for any humorous intent, but because the words, when you get past his accent, ring true for a lot of our clients.
Marriage is what brings us together today. That dream within a dream.
More specifically, how to get that dream within a dream alive.
Any marriage has its ups and downs and the longer you are together, the more dangerous the ruts can become.
We get into these habits. Sometimes, we even take each other for granted.
What we’ve seen time and time again is that boudoir is a great way to help couples get out of that rut!
Living in Denver, Colorado, we’re blessed with an abundance of sunny days and amazing opportunities. But just like anyone anywhere, we can get caught up in the rat race.
Boudoir is an amazing opportunity to shake things up and slip back into that dream within a dream!
Mrs M recently came to us to make a unique gift for her 19th wedding anniversary. That’s a huge milestone and achievement!
It wasn’t a familiar situation, and it definitely expanded her comfort levels, but she found that working with the Under the Garter staff was easy!
From the time she contacted us to the photo reveal, we worked with Mrs M to feel comfortable, informed, and part of the process.
There is a huge benefit to pushing beyond your boundaries. You get to discover new things about yourself!
We’ve heard from our clients that boudoir is a gift that keeps on giving. It spices up their lives and helps them slip back into that “dream within a dream!”
